Queens of the Stone Age Shine in Unique 'Catacombs Tour' Across North America
Queens of the Stone Age launched their North American Catacombs Tour at New York's Beacon Theatre on October 10, collaborating with local orchestras in historic venues. These performances feature reimagined versions of their songs, offering fans an intimate experience unlike any previous tour, as noted by the band on social media.
The concert is structured into three acts, beginning with frontman Josh Homme performing solo under a work light, followed by a more intense second act, and culminating in a dynamic rock finale. Their new EP, Alive in the Catacombs, released on June 13, showcases this innovative sound, with string sections enriching tracks like "Running Joke/Paper Machete" and "Kalopsia."
Upcoming performances include stops in Santa Barbara, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Austin, and New Orleans, as well as a show at London's Royal Albert Hall on October 29. After returning to the U.S., they will perform at Las Vegas' SEMA Fest on November 7, with ticket details available on the band?s official website.
